A counsellor's goal is to create well-being and harmony in your life. A counselling session is made up of sessions that are person-centered. By that I mean the counsellor is focused on your concerns for the entire session, face-to-face. You have the counsellor's total attention and commitment to you right from the start of the sessions. Sessions are confidential and you are not judged by the counsellor for anything you say. 

People also need goals to create an enjoyable existence in their lives. Without goals or being able to achieve them life can be boring.

It is normal to have dreams and goals we aim for in life.

Attaining them is important. We feel as if we have achieved something achievable and exciting.

Counsellors do not give advice; they empower clients to take charge of their own lives. The client is the expert in their own life. You know what's going on the counsellor doesn't. You have come to the counsellor with a problem you want to talk about. The counsellor listens, making sure that they understand fully your problem or situation then guides you and your family or just you individually with questions to attain how they can best help you.
